Case Study 3 – The Queensberry Hotel & Olive Tree Restaurant

Absolute’s ability to revitalise existing brands in an increasingly competitive market is at the heart of their work with boutique hotel, The Queensberry, Bath. Absolute’s designers are bringing out the distinctive character of this luxurious and sophisticated yet relaxed and subtly audacious hotel through its website, advertising and e-marketing tools.

A whole new strategic approach to these vital 21st Century communications tools including a defined and consistent new tone of voice is already delivering a host of benefits to this inspired destination.

Absolute saw the opportunity to push the braveness of the client to create a truly individual brand that would firmly differentiate the proposition from the other more homogenous brands in the Bath market and drive revenue.

A new logo and website led the development of a tone of voice and style for cheeky in-house and external marketing tools. New ‘related’ brands were then developed for the hotel, its restaurant ‘The Olive Tree’ and the new ‘Old Q Bar’

The results speak volumes. Against the most challenging recession in decades, The Queensberry’s business valuation rose from £3m to £6m.

Absolute are currently in their 4th year retained by The Queensberry Hotel and continue to innovate creatively. Absolute also deliver year on year their clients expectations within budget.

“Absolute is completely different from any other agency we’ve worked with. Fresh and inspiring they show a real understanding of our proposition and where we want to be. Absolute is really getting under our skin and working with us to reposition and refresh every vital element within our communications armoury.” Laurence Beere, Owner
